In conversation with psychoanalyst Darian Leader, Zizek presents a live commentary on the psychoanalytical themes which underlie Psycho - while the film plays in the background.

The Pervert's Guide to Ideology
In this lecture, Zizek explores contemporary commercial cinema as a state ideological apparatus. His examples include Munich, United 93, The Village, and The Da Vinci Code and are accompanied by clips from the films discussed.
